Worked on Agricultural Engineering aspects covering irrigation and water management and farm machinery. The duties and responsibilities included formulating research plan and conducting experiments in the farmers’ fields, analyzing data, writing reports and presenting the findings.

Worked as a member of 21 scientists’ multidisciplinary research team, comprising 10 university teachers and 11 university graduates from different discipline. The overall responsibility on the team is to upgrade the living standard of rural people at different agro-ecological zones (AEZ) of Bangladesh. The research thrust is divided at 10 components: Agricultural Engineering, Crop, Livestock, Fisheries, Agro-forestry, Gender Issue, Agricultural Economics, Training & Communication, Systems Analysis, and Community medicine & Nutrition. My major responsibility is to look after the Agricultural Engineering component. Preparation of research proposals, formulating the methodology to carry out research topic, managing and conducting the research, collection of data, analysis of data, preparing and presentation the report are the specific responsibility of my job.
